The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort feature several different options for guests to choose from in terms of accommodations. It doesn’t matter if you sleep in an RV or a tent, as beautiful accommodations are available. 

Tent and pop-up sites start at $72.67 plus tax, and a Premium Meadow Campsite that can fit a large RV costs $129 per night plus tax. Ponderosa RV Park

There are seven miles of paved roads at this park perfect for walking or bicycling, and you’ll find many rental bikes available. There are also luxury campsites, otherwise called Glamping, at Lake Louisa, or you can choose a primitive style site. 

Guests can also take advantage of a primitive equestrian camp where you can bring your horse along and keep them at one of the five paddocks. Lake Louisa State Park is open all year from 8 a.m. until sunset, and camping starts at $24 per night plus taxes and fees.

Kissimmee South RV Resort

Lost Lake RV Resort

The private Lost Lake RV Resort features plenty of beautiful natural scenery and a vacation-style atmosphere with many amenities. Here you’ll find a fitness center, swimming in the outdoor pool, campfires, outdoor kitchen and living areas, hot tubs, and an 11-acre lake.

Rainbow Chase RV Resort

Each site features a table and hookups, and this park allows pets under 40 lbs. Other features include handicap accessibility, a dump station, laundry, dog park, showers, and free WiFi.

This park also has a recreation hall, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and the park is close to Walt Disney World, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Legoland, and Universal Studios. The Daily rate at this park starts at $47, and there’s an AARP and Good Sam discount available. The weekly rate is $282, and there are long-term rates available and RV storage options.

Moss Park

Moss Park does not permit alcohol or pets, but this 1,551-acre park has plenty of nature to enjoy and beautiful sites for RV and tent camping. Located in Orlando, Moss Park has 54 RV/tent sites, and each site comes equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, grills, and water and electric hookups.

This park offers guests the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife, and you can launch a canoe or kayak on either Lake Mary Jane or Lake Hart. Boating, hiking, and various forms of wildlife observation make for excellent ways to relax, and there are plentiful photo opportunities.

You can reserve your site online up to 45 days in advance, and families or groups of 18 or more people may use guest sites or pavilions by calling the campground directly. It’s also worth noting that there are two boat ramps available for launching larger watercraft.

Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake

The Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake boasts over 183 acres of land, and this lake ranks in the top-five for fishing lakes in Florida. This park is ideal for individuals that love nature, and the family-friendly setup also works well for camping with groups. 

The community environment at this park includes recreational activities and many scenic views but is also just minutes from some of the hottest attractions in Orlando. If hotels are not your thing, this park is an ideal alternative, and one unique feature is the pavilion on site that has multiple outlets for charging battery packs on-site.

You can reserve tent, cabin, or RV sites at this park and even host other larger events like family reunions or fundraisers. Amenities include picnic tables at camping sites, paved walking paths, paved roads, grills, fitness stations, a dedicated drone flying area, and multiple playgrounds.

There is also a swimming pool and disc golf, and many different trails, pavilions, and nature areas for hiking and bird watching.

Aloha RV Park

Aloha RV Park in Kissimmee, Florida, allows you to book your accommodations online, and it is an ideal spot for enjoying time outdoors with the family. The camping sites include water, sewage, WiFi, 30-amp and 50-amp hookups, a pool, and a dedicated pet area.

If you want to take in Walt Disney World but also view some incredible nature, then the crystal blue waters and diverse landscape filled with abundant wildlife at Wekiwa Springs State Park, one of the best state parks near Orlando, is an ideal match. You can explore the many miles of trail here by bike or foot, but horseback riding is also an option.

This state park is just 16 miles from downtown Orlando and 30 miles from some of the biggest tourist attractions in the state. Hiking the parks 25+ miles of trail is another loved activity, and guests can choose from quick treks or any length to full-day hikes. 

Kelly Park Campground

Kelly Park Campground is another great option for RV camping with spacious sites and reservations you book online. Kelly Park has 26 RV sites complete with picnic tables, fire rings, and a grill. There are also water and electric hookups at each site, and there are group sites available.

This 34-acre park is also a paradise of lush plant life near Rock Springs Run. The camping fees include entrance to Kelly Park, the pool, and other on-site amenities. This campground is also a wildlife preserve and sanctuary for birds, so you can bird watch and see the abundant wildlife at any time of the day.

Inside the park is Rock Springs, a natural spring with a water flow rate of 26,000 gallons each minute. This spring averages 68-degrees year-round, which makes this body of water perfect for swimming and is also a popular tubing spot. The area is also ideal for hiking and picnicking and easily accommodates larger groups.

Lake Breeze RV Park

Sites at Lake Breeze RV Park in Orland start at $45 per day for RVs, and tents start at $30 per day. There is an RV park by the same name located about 2-3 hours away from Orlando, but this park is the one you want if you plan to visit Walt Disney World.

At Lake Breeze RV Park, guests will find laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. There are also 30-amp and 50-amp electrical hookups for RVs. Unlike other RV Parks, Lake Breeze does not offer cancellation refunds, and you can book your stay up to twelve months in advance.

This campground is close to several attractions, including the Orlando Science Center, and only accommodates RVs at its 68 sites. This RV Park cannot accommodate RVs longer than 28 feet but does have paved roads.

Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort

At the Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort, you can enjoy a massive number of amenities such as a clubhouse, playground, WiFi, shuffleboard, basketball, swimming, horseshoes, high-speed internet, a game room, and a fitness center. There are also laundry facilities, RV storage, restroom and shower facilities, and weekly potlucks.

There are church services on-site each week, planned seasonal outings, and in-resort activities that vary with the season. This RV park is pet-friendly and family-friendly and can accommodate a larger group of friends and family as easily as a romantic getaway for a couple.

RV Value sites start at $57.75 per night, standard sites cost $61 per night, and Premium RV sites are $65 for each night for two adults. The maximum RV length for most of these sites is forty feet, so if you have a longer RV, you should call ahead.
