Woohoo, yippee! Your vacation at Walt Disney World in Florida is finally here or fast approaching! While you’re excited, a few things might be stressing you out.
One such stressful thing is how you’ll divide your time at the happiest place on earth. It may feel daunting trying to figure out how to fit it all in, as well as trying to figure out how to get everywhere as efficiently as possible so you can maximize your time in the parks.
Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are probably on your list, as well as the two most popular water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. So many fun places to check out, and there is never enough time!
Here, we’re going to talk about a few different ways to get from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to one of the most beloved parks, Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Complimentary Transportation
A cool and convenient thing about spending your vacation at a park resort is being right in with the magic and unique entertainment and having free access to the transportation provided within the resorts to bring you and your family directly to the parks.
Disney parks have buses, monorails, and some unique transport special to specific parks.
The Magic Kingdom Railroad is usually a fan favorite to take you around some of Magic Kingdoms’ miniature lands, such as Frontierland or Fantasyland, but is unfortunately not currently running.
Water transport makes for a great change of pace, and the Fort Wilderness shuttle takes you from your camper right into the park if you’re staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
The Skyliner is also a recent favorite, providing guests an opportunity to see the parks from high above. On the Skyliner, you can travel from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the park entrance at Epcot.
However, for this trip from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Magic Kingdom, you’ll need to plan on going by bus.
Buses in Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
While monorails and watercraft sound appealing, none of them lead directly into Disney’s Magic Kingdom from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
The bus is the best choice to ensure you and your family arrive at Magic Kingdom in the quickest amount of time, without worrying about adding extra paths or routes as you would with other types of transportation.
Throughout Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort, there will be eight marked “pick-up” points to bring resort guests either into the parks or to bring resort guests back to the resort.
Make sure you pay attention to the destination listed on the sign to ensure you’re boarding the correct bus for Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Buses will run through these routes frequently to accommodate guests, so never fear if you just miss it! Another one will be right behind it, and the buses are kept running all day to shuttle guests to and from the parks.
These buses begin running 45 minutes before the park opens, and continue running until an hour after the park closes. The average bus ride between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Magic Kingdom is approximately 20-25 minutes.
Indirect Traveling
If you have extra time or feel like embarking on a scenic route, you and your family can always stray away from the bus to enjoy Disney’s exhilarating Skyliner transport.
Just make sure to note that this alternate route requires extra steps (such as boarding onto another form of transportation and then walking).
Travel by Disney’s Skyliner
No one can blame you for wanting to experience Disney through the unique Skyliner. You’ll get direct transportation to Disney’s Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the Skyliner. If you’re looking to use the Skyliner to travel to Magic Kingdom, you’ll take the Skyliner into Epcot first.
Once you arrive at Epcot, which will take about 15 minutes from taking the Skyliner, you’ll walk through the park and board a monorail from the Epcot station. You can be taken directly into Magic Kingdom with another monorail from Epcot.
Outside Transportation
You and your family can always depend on your own wheels! Whether you drove to Florida or flew and rented a rental car, you can also drive from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Magic Kingdom.
Travel by Personal Car or Rental

Driving yourself has its type of convenience because it ensures you can reach the park when you want to, as well as having the ability to head back to the resort when the day of fun is done.
You might not feel like waiting around for a bus ride home after being in the hot Florida sun all day, so driving is an alternative.
Driving adds the expense of a parking costs, but it might be worth it for some, depending on how the day goes. Certain parking passes can also enable you to park hop with a one-time pass purchase, so you can easily change your plans and check out other parks.
Travel by Uber or Lyft
There is also the option of reaching the park with an Uber or Lyft. The travel fee might be less expensive than an appealing parking pass.
Uber or Lyft services won’t take you to your destination as swiftly as driving your car since you have to wait on the driver but can be a good option if someone plans on having a drink or two while in the park.
It’s also a good option if you’re worried about forgetting where your car is parked when it’s time to head back to your resort.
