With her elegant mane of magical hair, never-quit attitude, and preference for running around the kingdom barefooted, Rapunzel proves that princesses don’t need a fancy pair of shoes to make their dreams come true.
Rapunzel doesn’t make as many appearances as some of her counterparts, but you can still spend time with the skillet-wielding heroine at select locations across Magic Kingdom.
Where To Meet Rapunzel at Disney World
For in-person experiences with Rapunzel at Disney World, you can find the princess at these attractions:
Princess Fairytale Hall, Fantasyland
Are you looking for the perfect photo-op?
Stop by Princess Fairytale Hall to see a lineup of regular princesses, including Rapunzel, Elena, Tiana, and Cinderella. Every once in a while, a visiting princess may stop by, including Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
The best way to know who’s waiting inside the regally-adorned hall is to check your My Disney Experience app or the signs outside the queue. They’ll indicate which line to stand in to meet Rapunzel and the estimated wait time.
When To Visit
Rapunzel is waiting to say hello from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM every day at Princess Fairytale Hall.
Be wary that princesses rotate in and out of the lineup, so it’s best to check beforehand that the Tangled star is available.
Festival of Fantasy Parade, Frontierland
You can wave at Rapunzel during the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Her Tangled-themed float resembles a Viking ship, with a group of wayward villains swinging back and forth on axe-shaped pendulums.
You’ll spot charming details from the movie, like Flynn Ryder’s wanted poster, a Snuggly Duckling pub sign, and Pascal the chameleon with his trademark wide-mouthed grin.
When To Visit
You can see a magical, musical performance of the Festival of Fantasy Parade every day of the week at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
The route winds its way from the Frontierland Viewing Area, through Liberty Square, past Cinderella’s Castle, and wraps up at the end of Main Street, USA.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, Cinderella’s Castle Stage
Watch a troupe of Mickey’s friends as they come together with Flynn and Rapunzel for a Disney dance extravaganza.
Along the way, you’ll meet other beloved princesses from Frozen and Princess and the Frog, with familiar tunes creating hummable soundscapes.
When To Visit
Join the Friendship Faire fun daily at 11:10 AM, 12:50 PM, 2:05 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:30 PM. The performance is on the Cinderella Castle stage on Main Street, USA.
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast, Trattoria al Forno, Disney’s Boardwalk
Start your morning at Disney World with Old World-style noshes as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider visit for photos and autographs.
The Trattoria al Forno menu features a vast range of Italian fare, from Oak-Grilled Steak and Eggs to Tiramisu-style French Toast topped with mascarpone cream.
When To Visit
Whenever Character Dining is available, you can enjoy a classic Italian breakfast with Rapunzel and Flynn from 7:30 AM-11:30 AM.
Become Rapunzel at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Princesses are always on-the-go at Disney World, which means you might miss out on meet-and-greets during a short visit.
However, you can still make wonderful, Rapunzel-filled memories at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Cinderella’s Castle. Treat your little one to a magical makeover with a head-to-toe Rapunzel transformation.
Three princess-pampering packages are available, including:
- The Carriage Package
- The Castle Package
- The Deluxe Castle Package
Regardless of your choice, your monarch-in-training will be treated to a royal spa experience from head to toe.
Best of all, the Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices let your child choose from a menu of hairstyles, makeup colors, and nail polish so they can recreate Rapunzel’s signature look.
Regal Regalia
The main difference between each package is the outfit offerings, with each upgrade including a more elaborate dress and accessories.
The Carriage Package is the most affordable and features a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique t-shirt with a matching pink tutu.
The Castle Package includes your little one’s choice of Disney Princess gown so they can rock Rapunzel’s sparkly pink and purple frock and other matching accessories.
Finally, The Deluxe Castle Package is an all-out extravaganza with a Deluxe Disney Princess Gown and coordinating accessory set in a lovely box.
None of these packages include matching magic slippers (not that Rapunzel needs them!), so you’ll need to bring your own.
Hair Styling
There are four options for hairstyling:
- Enchanted
- Fantasy
- Royal Braid
- Pixie Magic
Enchanted starts with the iconic princess top knot adorned with a tiara, hair clip, or a large bow.
Fantasy is an absolute stunner with a delicately curled hairpiece and flower halo.
Rapunzel fans will want to choose the Royal Braid, a style with a high bun dressed up in a braid extension and bow.
Finally, Pixie Magic is a color ponytail clip-in with a flower halo to match.
Little ones who want to sport Rapunzel’s golden tresses can add blonde extensions to any hairstyle.
Makeover and Manicure
Once the princess has every hair in place, it’s time for a touch of sparkle.
The Apprentice will present a color palette for the glamor girl to pick her eyeshadow shades and a selection of nail polish, including pink, blue, and shimmery gold.
Finally, it’s time for a shower of pixie dust to finish the makeover.
Extra Goodies
If you thought these Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices were done delighting your little one, think again.
Each visitor leaves with a princess sash and cinch sack stuffed to the brim with little extras like a brush, comb, makeup palette, face gems, nail polish, shampoo, makeup remover wipes, and after-care tips for your hair piece.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve “got a dream” to meet Rapunzel at Disney World, you’ll be spending time in the Magic Kingdom.
While there, don’t miss out on other exciting experiences like the fireworks show or one of the park’s many family-friendly restaurants.
Regardless of how you spend your time in-between appointments for rubbing elbows with royalty, we hope this guide to where you can meet Rapunzel at Disney World helped plan your adventure.
